the day’s exercise we headed to another DOC campsite at Te Anau Downs, once again right next to the lake and with a good view of one of the glacier valleys opposite. The next day was going to be a long drive, we were going across to the opposite coast to check out the Scottish City of Dunedin and the varied wildlife of the Otago Peninsula.
