and packing, but we did finally get to drink our bottle of fizzy we’d bought to celebrate being away for a year, and we did have one last New Zealand Pie!! And after the two nights we were fighting back the tears when we had to give Bongo back. We’d got so used to living in the back of a van we’re sure it won’t be the last time!! We hope that it’s not the last time we step foot on New Zealand’s shores either - what an absolutely wonderful country!! So varied and friendly!! We were very sad to leave, but the winter chill in the air made us very much look forward to the tropical conditions in our next stop, the Polynesian paradise of Fiji!!
