MINNEAPOLIS
subside as were didn’t really fancy more than one night in Minneapolis. Thankfully the Mall was nice and warm and we were soon stood and staring in utter amazement at the full on indoor funfair - it was unbelievable, there was a couple of mini roller coasters, the usual swing type of rides and even a log flume! Wow this was a shopping centre and a half. We found one of many food courts and grabbed something to eat before we actually tackled the shopping mall. It’s kind of strange really, you can travel half way around the world and go shopping only to find that most of the products on sale and the very same ones that would be gracing your shops at home, the only difference being I suppose, that the products in America cost a lot less. We didn’t really spend too much time looking around the shops, after all we didn’t really need anything and like I say, most of the shops were fairly boring high street shops!
Rather than wait for the shuttle bus we braved the weather yet again and took the 5 minute walk back to our motel. We then decided to check out the pool and hot tub. Due to the sub-zero temperatures outside the pool was definitely too cold and the hot tub wasn’t the hottest thing either of us had sat in. So there was only one thing left to do and turn up the dry sauna to its highest setting, wait for it to warm up before popping in for a cleanse!
Later on in the evening we ventured out to check out Minneapolis’s culinary delights and to our surprise we found a wicked Mexican restaurant, so had a slap up feast before heading back to our room for a very early night, due to the fact that we were going to have to be up and out for our next mornings flight to New York by 5.30 a.m! And that’s about as exciting as our whistle stop tour of Minneapolis
