OSLO
next day, then had brekky brunch and went off once more to investigate Oslo!

We ended up going to Hollmenkollen, where the ski jump is which is also quite high so had wicked views over the city. Checked the ski museum and then went up to the top of the ski jump, which involved a lift then loads of stairs - well done reen you were very brave going up there. Again great views from the top and once up there you just kinda realise what crazy mad fools those ski jumpers are - no wonder the brits picked eddy the eagle - good job he was blind as a bat without his specs!!! Hee-he

Once we had our feet firmly back on normal ground me and Andy went on a ski jump/down hill ski 130kmp simulator! WOW it was ace, didn’t realise we were being watched from outside as there was a camera in the pod
thingy, much to Cath and Rob’s delight! The ski jump was OK but the rapid down hill ski - just bonkers - those ski folk mad as …. !

Did a bit more wandering then went back to apartment as we were all hungry! Quick snack refreshed us all and later on Andy made us dinner and we used our last night with Cath and Andy to have a lovely chin-wag and drink some wine and Cath Raspberry Vodka - Rob still not tried any vodka - not getting too much in the spirit of Russki land!

Had to leave at 6.15 a.m. so we were all in a bit of a sleepy blur when we said our good-byes to Cath and Andy - gonna miss those 2, they are both beautiful and kind. A brisk walk in the sun to the train station and we were off to Sweden - the land of Sven!
