IRKUTSK & LAKE BAIKAL
Boarded the train around 1p.m. and more or less went straight to bed. Woke up late the next morning having slept really well, you can sleep forever on trains, really good to catch up on sleep and generally chill seeing as the past few days had been quite hectic.

Had another grumpy Provanista but this time it was a man, and he looked really hard so everyone was on best behaviour until it all got a bit silly later on in the evening when the vodka appeared and Noah had games planned for us all! Had a really good laugh except poor John got a little bit poorly and was sick, so all the bedding was moved and placed in the corridor for washing early next morning, but when we got up the next morning all the bedding had vanished and the Provanista shouted at Noah and said we had stolen all the bedding, he took our onward train tickets from Noah and demanded we paid him heavily for the sheets! Noah was
having none of it and generally this row when on all day, Noah was refusing to pay this fella as he was basically just trying to make a load of cash out of us but on the other hand he had our train tickets and we were hoping it could all be sorted out without getting the police involved! All very draft considering the crime was a couple of mucky sheets, they had obviously as the train hadn’t stopped so why would anybody nick the bloody things!!! Anyway it turned out that a fellow passenger had seen the Provanista hiding the sheets in a cupboard further down the train, armed with this information and a very determined Noah the sheets were soon to be returned!!! Thankfully on leaving the train the sheets were produced, we got our tickets back and everything was all hunky dorey!!!

The rest of the train journey was very uneventful and the scenery was amazing! The time passed quite quickly
