KUNMING
a drink, it had 3 computers but only 1 of them was working, not much good for us as we wanted to spend a couple of hours each checking stuff out. But it did give us a chance to find out some information about the awful London bombings. It is a nightmare here to find out information as loads of the news channels are blocked, but thankfully my mum had send an email which shed some light on what had happened.
Our 40 minutes was soon up and with the queue of people shuffling about round us we definitely knew it was time to leave. We thought we would have no problem finding somewhere in a big city but try as we might we couldn’t find anywhere, we ended up in the business centre of a hotel at 30 Yuan an hour! Had a chat with Roland on messenger and caught up with the football gossip which was top! Found out some information on India but not as much as we would have liked. We plodded back to our

hotel as the city was just full of shops selling rip off western style clothing and not much else, when we got back to the hotel we found out there was an internet café opposite the hotel, I guess it was just one of days!
I didn’t got out that night as I didn’t feel like eating too much as my tummy was feeling a little bit off, so I stayed in and caught up with doing diaries and photos. Thankfully the next day we were out of Kunming and off to Dali, the home of the Bai people.
