MOUNT FUJI
showers. The showers were all around the room and you get free body wash and shampoo, which was lovely and smelled even nicer. It gave you a great sense of relaxation just walking into the room but the feeling you had when leaving was just pure bliss. The bathtub was a great big stainless steel thing which was almost like a hot tub, not as many water jets but it was one of the most peaceful and relaxing experiences I have had since our Spa Day before we left for our travels. It is also good as you can get out at various points and have a cold shower before plunging back into the hot waters, heavenly!!! I stayed as long as I possibly and came out feeling totally rejuvenated. Rob had had an equally refreshing experience and the two of us sat in our room glowing and feeling far too chilled out to even talk!!!

mattresses were really comfy and we had a great nights sleep. We had set the alarm for 6 a.m. as we wanted to make the most of our morning but when we got up and looked out it was still really cloudy and you couldn’t really see Fuji so we had another hours sleep!!! The second time we woke the sun was streaming through the screens and we opened them up to have a full blown clear view of Mount Fuji. It looked so close that you felt like you could almost touch it. It was a very special moment seeing Mount Fuji from our room, we were up like a shot as we didn’t want to miss any photo opportunities! We grabbed a can of coffee and hot chocolate from the outside vending machine and sat in awe of the great mountain. I was on the hot chocolate as Japan is similar to rest of Southeast Asia, as in they put sugar in everything - definitely a no no in my book!!!
