THE GRAND CANYON
and Cath & Andy, it was so great to see them all after so long!!! We just couldn’t believe they were going already - it only seemed like five minutes since they were frantically waving across the arrivals hall at LAX!!
(I know it’s Rob’s diary but I would also like to say that I had an absolutely wonderful 3 weeks with Cath, Andy, Sue and Eddie. I was such a joy to spend time with them and to see Andy looking so well. It really did hit us how long we had been away and how much Cath and Andy’s life has improved since we left. His continuing good heath means that they look happier than ever, it is so hearth warming to see! Thanks guys for turning those 3 weeks into a fantastic and funny holiday - it was great to see you all but we do miss you too. Hel xxx)
So that was that then.

We had our motel room for two nights to chill out and recover from a hectic three weeks before we went to stay with Sean and his family. And that’s exactly what we did. Apart from one more excursion to Yavapai point to watch the sunset from a different angle, and a few trips out for food, we hardly moved from our room!! But once again time flew and before we knew it we were standing outside Starbucks looking out for Kamen, Sean’s wife, who had kindly offered to come and pick us up!!
