a bite to eat at the café before checking out the gardens. There were some beautiful tropical flowers and it was a lovely warm sunny day so it made for a very pleasant afternoon on our last full day in Rio. We headed back to the hostel and had a very chilled evening and decided that we would leave the packing till the morning!

So that was that with Rio for the time being, we would be back in Rio for a few days before our flight to Iguazu Falls and in the mean time we had a couple of weeks for check out Rio State with our first port of call being Petropolis, a couple of hours away by coach.
