it. We came across one that fitted the bill for us. Wow it had everything! We walked in and were totally stunned by the variety of food available, there was everything from Thai to Indian to burger and chips, something for everyone. We were pretty hungry by this point so decided to go for the eat as much as you can option - always a mistake when your pretty hungry. We both got a huge plate of food and started off really enthusiastically, got about half way through and realised that our eyes had definitely been bigger than our bellies! You were asked not to fill overfill your plate, of course we did slightly but you should have seen some of those plates, I’m not kidding you they were piled high. We saw one bloke come out with a plate so full that he took it over to his wife and two kids and they all tucked in, it fed the lot of them!!! We were so stuffed after this, all that I wanted to do was to lie down but unfortunately we couldn’t really do this so we opted for an internet session instead, the
next best thing. After our internet we were really tired and still full so we headed back to the train station and enjoyed walking off some of our food. We got back to Bongo and crashed almost straight away.

We woke up knowing that this day was to be our last day in the North Island for quite some time. We were booked onto the 6.15 pm ferry and were very much looking forward to our visit to the South Island. The North Island had exceeded our expectations and we knew that the landscape was totally different in the South with big snow capped mountains and glaciers - bring it on!!!
