Alaskan Salmon which was heavenly. Sorry Pauline, another salmon meal better than my previous best!! We had phoned our car hire company to arrange for them to pick us up at the hostel, and despite only two hours passing from the phone call to the allotted time, they didn’t turn up, and we had to phone to remind them! The lady at Budget was very apologetic about this though, and not only gave us a free day, but also upgraded our car for free. Great we thought, until Hel went off to get the car - it was a beast!! A Chevrolet Malibu, a monster of a thing about the size of a big BMW!! Hel didn’t like it at all, and after the initial day didn’t drive it at all!!
