whole year but we are looking forward to 2007 and who knows what this year will bring! El Bolson is a gem of a place, it is a lot less touristy than Bariloche but it had been a pleasure to spend time in both places but as always its was time to move on and this time we were heading down south. Antarctica was getting closer but before this absolute treat we had a date with Ruta 40, the famous Patagonian dirt down that straddles the length of Argentina! It would be some trip although the prospect of spending two days on a bus on dirt roads did leave a lot to the imagination, but we had loved everything about Argentina so far (with the odd exception like Dulce Leche!) and guessed we wouldn’t be disappointed with our next adventure.
