MOSCOW
would class myself as being a rich westerner but these people have had it so much more tough than we have, its hard to imagine the changes that especially the old people must have seen, and I guess if your lifestyle was so restricted in Soviet times you wonder whether now people are just making up for lost time! There is a vast divide between rich and poor which I think it will grow, the cities have a certain edge to them, its kinda of hard to explain.

wow what a place. Again its all on a big scale, there is only a small section that the herd whoops I mean public are allowed into so the area you cover is kinda compact. I think most of it was built by or commissioned by Ivan the Terrible before he was really terrible, I know he definitely was the one who commissioned St Basils Cathedral in Red Square and his bell tower inside the Kremlin, there is another cathedral as well, unfortunately I can’t find the guide book just at the minute hence be being very vague about the place!!! There was a main square which was really beautiful, check out the photos, loads of gold onion domes, they really do twinkle sweetly in the sunshine! There was the massive government buildings which were definitely off limits to the masses, your also not allowed to photography military personnel so we didn’t chance are luck with trying to get too many photos of the government buildings! Then there was an smallish area off very peaceful gardens, we chilled there for a short
