VIENTIANE
that (only joking Russ!) everything was great!!!
By the time we had finished our Wat visiting it was getting near to sunset time and we thought it was only right to check out the sunset bars, so we found ourselves a good spot and ordered a bottle of good old Beerlao and settled in for the sunset! It was a lovely experience sitting there with a beer watching a beautiful sunset over the Mekong River in a remarkably chilled city. What was even more strange or chilled depending how you look at it, was the fact that this place was a restaurant they had people coming round selling barbequed fish! Yuk to the smell, but can you ever imagine that happening in England, where you’re sat in a food bar and some outsider comes round selling you food and the owners don’t seem to mind in the slightest! After a wicked sunset and a couple of beers it was time to head back, grab some food and pack once again
