a little bit more than the last time. However, we got it as far as back to the apartment and noticed that one of the wheels was busted, so back to the shop it went! Walking into town we passed all the outdoor shops, but their bags were too expensive, but we finally got lucky in town with one that came with a 5 year guarantee valid throughout Australia and New Zealand. Sorted!!
We did another mammoth internet session, and then headed over to the other side of the river. Here was a really nice area, all leafy and green with lots of cafes and bars, lots of areas to have a picnic, and it just so happened that we had one with us!! Result!!! Another stroll along the riverbank took us past the open air pool, dressed up to look like a beach, and to the south bank station. We caught a train back to our apartment, crossing the river to an amazing sunset. Brisbane had been pretty cool - yet another

Australian city which we liked more than Sydney!! All that was left was to get to the airport the next morning, which we did by shuttle bus. This picked us up at our door, and delivered us to the airport, all for the bargain price of nothing, as the driver never asked us for money!! How cool is that? J So it was bye bye Queensland, and hello again New South Wales. We’d had a good time seeing how the state is so dramatically different from the tropical north to the beach-life south, but were eager to see if we liked Sydney better second time around!!
