all sounded a bit dodgy! There are no vicious animals in New Zealand and if it was genuine then we really didn’t fancy trying to find an unidentified animal and get it out of someone’s car!!! It was so strange and we were both very wary, I’m sure it was a genuine request but neither of us wanted to open the door as we were in the middle of nowhere and it was very dark!!!

We woke up early and had to drag ourselves off, we were heading off to Christchurch today but it was a lovely sunny day and the surrounding snow capped mountains looked wonderful and we weren’t sure we wanted to head off to a city!

The Mount Cook area is an extremely beautiful and unspoiled area, we had been extremely lucky to see the area with such good weather. We’d had a great few days and some fantastic

walks, but again it was time to move on and this time it was to Christchurch which would meet that we would get to meet up with Penny from our Russian trip!
