It had been a really great day, we had both topped up our tans so to speak and were glowing by the time we disembarked. We headed out later on and tried the traditional Brasilian drink Caprini, which is a sweet and sour type of drink made with some Brasilian spirit, lime juice, lemonade and sugar!!! They are actually very pleasant providing you keep them well topped up with ice so after a couple of these it was certainly time to hit home!
Our last day in Parati was spent chilling out, catching up with photos and diaries and doing some present shopping. We were both fairly tired so it was nice to have a chilled but productive day. For me it was almost like being back at work, I spent more or less the whole day sat in front of the laptop sorting out the many many photos that

Parati had turned out to be wonderful, it is a real gem of a place, a pretty town with very friendly people. Our 3 planned days turned into 7 full days and never once did we tire of the place.
