We got back to Tupiza around 8 p.m. and we’d been up since 5 - but hey think about Hualdo; all we had to do was sit in the back, he’d had to drive us for those long 13 hours!! But he was a master at his job and he never once complained or greeted you without a smile. We gave both him and Christina a good tip and thanked them both very much for making this one of the best things we have done on our travels.

Tupiza tours but unfortunately didn’t get the room we’d ordered, but it didn’t matter, we were so tired we could have slept on a washing line! Our new room was cheaper and had a TV so we could watch my boys the next morning so everything was just fine and dandy. We went out for pizza and a couple of beers before heading back for a nice big sleep on a bed with a decent mattress, something that had been sorely lacking in our last 3 nights accommodation!

We had a great undisturbed sleep and after a shower headed down for breakfast. Breakfast wasn’t up to Rob’s high standards but it was Ok and included in the price so you can’t complain too much. After this we watched a below par nil-nil draw by my boys, effectively ending their Premiership challenge, then packed and headed to the internet.
