SALAR DE UYUNI DAY FOUR
catching a bus to Villazon then heading across the border and back to our old favourite Argentina.

The bus journey to Villazon passed through some amazing scenery and was only a couple of hours. We walked to the border point and passed through the exceptionally chilled Bolivian border control before walking across another no-man’s land and into Argentina once more.

So that was it, our time in Bolivia was over and wow what an experience we’d had. Bolivia is a fabulous country full of the most astonishing scenery and we’d had a good go at seeing a lot of it. In fact Bolivia has the 8th biggest biodiversity of any country in the world. It is a wonderful place to visit and with it being only relativity small compared to its neighbours its easy to visit many of its varied regions.
Having said that there were still areas we didn’t see, but you can’t do and see everything. We have come to learn that you should just make the most of the places you are lucky enough to see, there is no point trying to cram too much in, otherwise you will miss out on too much. Bolivia is rich in both culture and landscape, it is a fascinating country to visit and I can only say good things about it, its people and traditions. It is truly captivating and its many landscapes are just out of this world.
