SWAZILAND
as it would have meant missing the FA Cup final between my wonderful boys and those dodgy Mancs!!! After this we watched a beautiful sunset then decided it was time to grab a beer and play some pool. It had a really nice vibe this hostel and we got talking to a German girl who was travelling by herself and was basically doing the same route as us, so no-doubt we would meet her again! Rob did his usual magic in the kitchen and cooked a wonderful feast, then we had a super-chilled night and I caught up with my book.

There are not many places in the world where you can wake up, have a look out of the curtains and see a swimming pool with an ostrich drinking out of it! But this was one of those places, it was another lovely sunny day and after breakfast we went off to do some more food shopping. We gave Claudia the German girl a lift and we were hoping to have a quick internet session. It was
strange but we were back in the land of expensive and crap internet. We had been spoiled rotten in South America with internet and we just weren’t used to it being so thin on the ground and so expensive. The internet was tediously slow and expensive so we did as much as we could before frustration got the better of us! Then we headed back to the hostel.

In the afternoon Rob and I went for a wonderful walk around part of the nature reserve. Mike wanted a day chilling so we left him playing his playstation while we headed out. It was lovely to actually get out and do some walking, we hadn’t done any since we’d been in Africa and we both really enjoyed getting out. We passed some curious zebra and headed across the reserve and towards the lake. Once we arrived at the lake there were signs everywhere telling you to keep away from the waters edge due to there being a crocodile presence. We saw a
