YANGSHAU
veg, then tofu cooked in beer, rob opted to cook fish instead of tofu, and finally stir fried water spinach with garlic. It was really nice to be cooking again, I have missed cooking and of course Rob was in his element and didn’t need to much guidance from Jackie. After finishing the cooking we went over to the other building which had a top floor terrace and began to eat the fruits of our labour, I was very impressed with myself it has to be said and I even had a dish that was more spicy than Robs! We had to be fairly quick eating as we needed to be back at our hotel at midday as we had to drive back to Guilin and then catch a flight to Kunming.

Again we were leaving a place which we both would have loved to have spent more time in, we are both really looking forward to the time when we are travelling alone and can just choose how long you stay in a place. The tours are great for getting an
overview of places but it does mean that your time is planned and very limited, but I guess you can’t have everything and its better to see a little than nothing at all.
