ANDAMAN COAST
hot and hectic Arhmedabad we soon realised that it could be a lot worse!

The next day we had to get a connecting bus to the station which was about 4 hours bus ride away. We had about 2 and a half hours to kill before our train left. We had decided that we would try and get up to the North as soon as we could and hoped we would be able to book a ticket for the next day. Thankfully we were able to book an overnight ticket up to Chiang Mai. We also wanted to go to Mae Hong Son and had read that you could get some reasonably cheap flights, so we hit the internet café and checked out flights. The options were that we could fly to Mae Hong Son for £30 or take a bus that would take around 6 hours, not much contest really as the flight was 35 minutes!!! We booked the flights and we feeling like a plan was coming together!

Slept like a log on the overnight train and we arrived in Bangkok at 7.45 a.m. Our overnight train to Chiang Mai left at 6 p.m. so we had a day to kill in Bangkok!
