SIEM REAP AND ANGKOR
cutest kids you ever did see! We were pondering over which hotel we were going to stay at, we’d seen a couple that we liked on the internet, and we’d been given a flyer for one when we booked our boat tickets at Capitol Guest house. We’d also been told that there would be plenty of hotel representatives waiting at the jetty to whisk you off to their hotels. As we pulled in though we saw a guy holding a sign saying Robert and Helen Riley-Ditchfield!! We were somewhat perplexed by this, as we had e-mailed one place enquiring, but the price was too high, so we hadn’t booked it. On closer examination however, it turned out that the flyer we’d been handed was not just a suggestion, but a firm booking!! And much to Hel’s delight, the channel line-up included Chelsea TV, and at half past seven they were showing a profile of Ruud Gullit, the only man that Hel fancies more than me! J (hmmm, I would describe him as my footballing hero, but Rob sees it differently!!! - Hel.) We were treated to a free mixed fruit shake, which was a heavenly mix of pineapple, banana and apple with milk and ice. We chatted to our tuk tuk driver who asked us if we’d like to go and see the sunset, as the trip to the sunset was free with the room. We graciously accepted! He then went on to describe his tour of the temples for the next three days, and after a little haggling over the price, we had ourselves three days of transport covering
