Then it was time for our tour, we were shown a brief film of the building and history of the towers before we headed up to the 4lst floor about a half way up the building! The skywalk is the bridge linking the two buildings. The views were great over the city and we had been very lucky with the weather as it had stopped raining and the sun was starting to shine again. The bridge was meant to sway but I wasn’t too sure about that!!! It did make me feel a bit funny looking down!!! We were up there for around 10 minutes so it wasn’t long before we were heading back down to earth.

We then headed back to the hostel and I checked my mail only to find that I needed to call Direct Line as they had taken money for something from my

closed Barclaycard account. Cath and my Mum had both tried to sort it out but they couldn’t so I needed to phone them. I got a horrible sick feeling in my stomach thinking what an earth it was about, I knew I had cancelled my car insurance but was expecting a great deal of hassle and a big bill for something or other! Thankfully with the aid of Skype I got through only to find out that they hadn’t changed my address details or cancelled my car breakdown cover. So they took it upon themselves to take out the money and Barclaycard had to pay them by law. My lucky stars were shining that day as I managed to get a full refund from Direct Line and Barclaycard charged me nothing! Phew!!! All sorted and from half way across the world, its pretty amazing to think that you can do things like that, but I guess that’s why the internet and Skype is so brilliant.
