NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
chill!!! It was so beautiful here, it was the ideal place to just kick back and relax! After checking the internet and a phone call to Osprey. I found out that the missing part of my rucksack had been delivered to Dom and Dina’s which meant that we could pick it up on our way back through Alameda. That day we also had a few games of pool to which I got totally thrashed by Rob and soon got bored of my hammering so decided to give Yahtzee a go. It just wasn’t my day for winning and got battered by the Robster yet again, there was only one thing left to do, go and have a fire and a glass of wine! There was a lovely big communal fire ring with complimentary wood, someone had already been there so it didn’t take much to get the fire roaring back into life!

The next morning we woke up to find it was drizzling with rain, not something you expect in California but it didn’t last long. We had read about another campsite about 10 miles down the road and located next to a river so we packed up and moved on. This campsite was beautiful, even though it was next to the road, it was very picturesque. The scenery was amazing I guess it looked like what we both thought Canada would look like, not at
