what you’re used to some how. I think I was missing the beauty of the wonderful Southeast Asia, and Asia in general. I don’t even think I had realised how taken I was with that part of the world. Asia is truly is a wonderful place, so vast, so different and so removed from the general hustle and bustle of western culture. Being in Sydney reminded me of the Groove Armada song, “Everybody looks the Same”, nothing really too different on the culture stakes from what your used to, nothing too special, nothing too new - god knows what I will feel like when we finally make it back to the UK!!!

day, so we decided we would wait for a sunny day before taking to the waters. We are going to be back in Sydney so there was no rush to cram in a ferry ride especially when they are on the pricey side! We generally pottered around, found a cheap internet café and checked our flights to Uluru and on to Cairns, car hire and other general stuff.
Today was the day we were supposed to remember to put the tent up in the camping shop before we headed off with it, but again this small fact seemed to escape our minds. We were in good spirits as we had been in contact with Jason and Chantay, a couple we had met on the Trans-Mongolian Railway all those months back. They had invited us to stay with them back then and had returned our recent email and invited us round for dinner that evening.
