SYDNEY
our trip. We got to the camping shop picked up our stuff, Rob got another towel, we bought gas and all the things we were remembering we needed, but totally forgot about the tent!!! We headed off back to hostel, took a shower, and went out to wait for Jason to come and pick us up.
It was great to seem them both again, they were so welcoming and for us getting out of the hostel for a night was a blessing. They had a lovely apartment on the outskirts of Sydney near to ****Coombie ??? Beach. That day they had just put in an offer on another house in a different part of the city and were very excited about it. We had a lovely evening it was fantastic to see them again, and to look at photographs and reminisce over the many funny stories we encountered on that trip.

Australia day and they were off to Chantay’s parents for lunch so before they dropped us off, they took us to some of their nearby beaches, which looked fabulous. We were starting to think we may have been taken with Sydney a lot more if we’d have stayed in a different part of the city. They dropped us off and we said our goodbyes until the next time we are in Sydney.
We went into the city later on in the afternoon and as it was Australia Day we were kind of expecting some big entertainment but instead there were just lots of people out and about with their friends and family enjoying their public holiday. It was all very pleasant if a little lacking in things to do. We walked up to a park where we thought there would be something happening, but it had all finished even thought it was only around 5.00 p.m. So we ended up chilling in the botanic gardens then watching the semi-finals of the
