house the most annoying American teenager brats you could ever have the misfortune of meeting. Soon after sitting down, a chip fight started, then the main lad, the real show man started taking the piss out of anyone who wasn’t in their crummy little in crowd, whilst having his mouth as full with a burger as possible, therefore spitting it all over the show as he blabbed on. It has to be said this group was the foulest group of kids we have come across whilst travelling, thankfully it seems that this type of behaviour was a one off! My burger was burned and pretty horrid and Rob was disappointed at the size of the portions so we got out of there as fast as we could! Time for a few hours shut eye and see if things looked rosier after a few hours sleep!

I had to drag myself awake, I had only been to sleep for around 2 hours and could have slept for a lot more. But after a shower I was feeling a
lot more refreshed and ready to take on Waikiki! We headed out and went for a walk along the seafront. It was really busy but did have its own kind of charm. We found a food court and had a cheap veggie meal. Veggie food looked like it wasn’t going to be a problem which was handy. We both felt that Waikiki looked better by night as we headed back to the hostel for a fairly early night.

We woke up feeling fine and we eager to head out. We planned to get the bus out to Makupu’u Point then onto Kailua. The bus was something of a bargain at $2 flat fare with transfer, meaning you could use another bus free within a couple of hours. Although it was only our second day, it was good be getting out of Waikiki, it wasn’t really our thing!
