BACK TO SAN FRANCISCO
getting directions caused much amusement. He came back saying that he’d asked ‘how do we get back to into LA?’, Rob and Cath’s face’s were a picture until Eddie said he was only kidding and knew full well that he was in San Francisco - I guess it was just one of those moments where you had to be there to see how funny it was!
We got the bus back over the bridge and were quite pleased with ourselves for thinking of this idea as it was such a cheap way of seeing the harbour and bridge. It also meant that we didn’t have to sit on a tourist boat and listen to the usual dull touristy commentary - always a relief! The bus dropped us in the centre of the city and we had another amble around before deciding that we were all knackered and needed to go back to the hotel to chill before heading out into Little Italy later on for something to eat. We had walked through there earlier in the day and

spied a great looking restaurant - yum, we were in the fortunate position that we knew how good the food was from that part of the city. The last time we had been there was World Cup day and wow what a day that had been.
Before we headed back we found ourselves in a bar in Fisherman’s Wharf where we had a swift couple of pints and then jumped on a cable car back to our hotel. It is such a good buzz getting the cable car, this was our second ride of the day and even though we had to queue for a while the ride is so worth the wait!
After a good long chill, we hit the streets again but opted to get the bus down to Little Italy as everyone’s feet were killing them from doing so much walking around. San Francisco isn’t the flattest city on earth and it was definitely taking it toll
