NEW YORK CITY
Building. Unfortunately we just missed sunset due to it being extremely busy but we were still treated to a lovely pinky/yellow sky. We hung around for a fair while which paid off as the crowds started to subside and we managed to get some great photos. We also took some time just to stand there and admire the view.
From here we made our way over to Greenwich Village and found the Comedy Club. The deal with the tickets was that you had to make 3 purchases once you were inside the club. We went for a drink in the bar next door and while we waited for the club to open. The club wasn’t very large inside and we were highly delighted to find that we were fairly close to the back and not sitting on the front row. We ordered some drinks and nibbles and sat down to a good couple of hours of comedy. The comedians were mostly funny but the last guy was the funniest. We were told we could stay for the next

sitting but a couple of hours of comedy was enough for us, so we decided to head back home.
The next morning we had a lovely lie in, something which we hadn’t had for quite a while and it was great! Today was our last full day in New York and we still had to sort out our Rio - Iguazu Falls flight and get some dollars and travellers cheques for South America. We headed to in the internet café and printed off and faxed documents for the flights and decided that we would check the internet while we were out, rather than going back to the hostel. We then took the subway down to try and find the American Express office. Rob had looked up the address on the internet but we couldn’t find it anywhere. It turns out that the American Express office moved about 3 months ago but nobody had bothered updating the address on the website - slack or what? We eventually found their new office in a posh hotel
