CUZCO
harmless enough they can be a little too serious at times, but hey each to their own! So with us both being happy with what we’ve got and not wanting to change ourselves with a Shamanistic rebirth we were happy just to take a double room and leave the San Pedro plant to its own devices! Peace and love man J!!!
We managed to change hostels that day and although the lady at the first hostel wasn’t too happy with us and couldn’t understand why we didn’t like her expensive draughty pad, the rest of the day was spent chilling around our new hostel due to the tremendous downpour that had ascended onto Cuzco. Thankfully the hippy pad was modern enough to have heard of the internet and we found ourselves with excellent wi-fi from the comfort of our bedroom! Always a bonus!

We had received
an email from Andie and were invited to meet her in the Irish Bar (yep they really do get everywhere - and this one was the highest Irish owned pub in the world!!). Tom and Chris from Pachamama tour had also finished their Inca Trail tour that day, so we were getting ready for a bit of a boozy evening! It was great to meet up with everybody again and as predicted it turned into a very boozy evening with us hitting the club next door, strutting our stuff then ending up in a Peruvian pub with a Peruvian man we had all befriended!!! The Peruvian bar was a little less well decorated than the touristy bars but it was good to see the real Peru! Cuzco really does now how to party!
The next morning we had a nice long lie in and even though we felt a teeny bit hungover we decided a walk would do us good. We walked down to the main square which seemed somewhat quieter than it had the previous evening.
