CUZCO
anyone! We had a nice chilled few hours before hitting the streets once more and we were hoping that Andie had got our text message of where to meet. We were due to meet everyone by the fountain in the plaza at 7.00 p.m. Virginia had already found us a Salsa club and wanted to get there early for the lessons! Whilst I wouldn’t have minded a Salsa lesson I really didn’t feel like my hiking boots would be the correct choice of footwear so I sat and kept Rob company as to my surprise he didn’t fancy the Salsa!!!
Pilar and Virginia had met a couple from Brasil along their way so we had quite a posse! After an hour or so of Salsa the real professionals seemed to take over the show and watching this fascinating display of movement we were quite relieved we’d given the lessons a miss! These dancers were amazing and the music was definitely full on foot tapping stuff. After around 9 p.m. the music

changed and the Salsa unfortunately stopped. As the Salsa lessons were in the same club we were in a few nights ago we decided to move on and see what the other clubs had to offer. Free drinks for sure! We were given flyers for more free drinks than we could imagine, so we did the only thing you can do in situations like that and tried out every bar/club we found! The clubs are centred mainly around the top half of the plaza and are wall to wall. We all got very merry and boogied to our hearts content until the small hours of the morning. Another very enjoyable evening and maybe our last with our Pachamama friends!
We spent the next day at a very leisurely pace! We’d done a fair bit of walking and after all of the previous nights dancing our legs were feeling pretty tired. We had a bit of a stroll but the weather wasn’t up to much so we headed back and I decided to have a massive Antarctica
