CUZCO
photo session. We really wanted to get all of the Antarctica photos finished and uploaded before we left Cuzco as we had free and fast internet. We also didn’t want to upload these photos in bits as we felt that they were just too good for that! Sorting through the photos was a nightmare and I did try my best to keep the number of photos down to a minimum, but what can you do when a place is just to beautiful! To keep in the spirit of Antarctica later that night we watched Happy Feet, which we both thoroughly enjoyed! It was great being able to identify with the species of penguin and understand some of their curious little ways.

forward to thrashing the Israelis good and proper. Peru TV had shown the Wales and Northern Ireland game so we were pretty sure they’d show the England game - no such luck! We were pretty fed up about this to start with, but knew we had the back up of watching it on the laptop. By the end of the game we were highly delighted that they hadn’t shown the game on South American TV, because basically it would have been too embarrassing for us, seeing as we were temporarily living on the best footballing continent in the world! It beggars belief sometimes how England can be so totally dreadful and look like they have never in their lives every played the beautiful game!!!
We headed out for a last walk around town but as it was weekend it was busier than ever and the street vendors were in more aggressive selling mode. So we headed back to the hostel, packed our bags once again and had an early
