TIGER LEAPING GORGE
have been around 9.30 by the time we got to this point, the temperature was rising and the cloud was beginning to clear and as if by magic when we went over to the viewpoint and stood admiring the view the cloud lifted and we were given a full glimpse of true beauty of this gorge - a true natural reward after our efforts in climbing so high! We scoffed some chocolate, admired the view and were soon ready to carry onward and upward! We were under no elusion that all the walking uphill was over but we knew there wasn’t that much more to do! The chocolate kicked in and with energy levels restored we virtually skipped up the rest of hills - well perhaps I’m exaggerating a little but we were in good spirits!
