SAPPORO
our utter delight they had loads of samples of chocolates, cakes and other such goodies. Let’s just say we made the most of these free samples and in the end we both decided it was time for us to leave before we were asked to!!! Some of the samples were just lush though, it has to be said, and if we weren’t on a round the world trip then we would have definitely been buying some of them.

It really is great just wandering around and absorbing the cultural differences. Japan is really a special place and we both just loved wandering around as well as checking out museums.

After this we wanted to go on one of the city’s trams, which circles part of the city. It wasn’t really what we expected as it was very full and definitely a working locals tram. We stuck it out though and it was a great way to see different parts of the city, again it managed to trundle its way through snow filled
