about 150 metres away!!! Wow! Not only had it been a hectic morning we were now mixing with the stars good and proper!!! We have no idea what the film is about, but we suspect that it will have something to do with a few dodgy geezers doing dodgy deals if Venice beach is anything to go by, but remember if you do see that film advertised go and see it and think of us and our hectic day!

We then headed to the apartment feeling all the better for something to eat and a sit down. Drew had arrived but couldn't find the key for the apartment. We just chilled around while he went through a massive bunch of keys desperately trying to find the one that fit our door. Eventually he bust the lock on the door and we were finally able to get into our room. The apartment was ace and we were very glad that our booking had been messed up and we'd ended up here - I guess sometimes things do happen for a reason!!!

At some point a bloke came to replace the busted lock and we decided it was time to go and have a beer. It had been a very hectic day and the thought of a beer and watching the sunset over the beach would be the best thing for us, so off we went and found a great beachside bar! After a few beers Venice beach was looking a whole lot better. It was tacky and I don't suspect the people from that area are the most sincere people you will ever meet but it was good for people watching and better than being stuck in central LA! It had just been one of those very hectic days!

Rob had arranged to meet his mate Dan, a lad who used to work at Aria the day after we arrived in LA. I had met Dan a couple of times so was looking forward to meeting up with him again. Dan had kindly offered to drive us around LA for the day going anywhere we wanted!
