comments on some of the more abstract pieces of art!!! The building is a very swanky with extensive gardens and offers great views over the sprawling LA. We spent a good couple of hours looking around which started off with us sampling the culinary delights of the restaurant, which was rather good. We were all in very good spirits and had a great laugh there.

After this we decided we had done enough sight seeing and it was time for a pint, so we headed back to Venice Beach, where Dan was going to leave his car and get his friend to come and pick him up later on. We headed to the bar me and Rob had been in the night before and Rob and Dan caught up with all of the old Aria gossip amongst conversations of our travels and Dan's new life in LA. We all agreed that the weather was better than it was back in Manchester! After a few more pints we moved to the bar next door and ordered some food. Later on

Dan's mate Phil the German came to pick Dan up. We'd had a great day with Dan, he was a star for driving us around and it was really great to see him again.

The next day we had yet another ex-Aria dinner date! We were this time meeting Chris Holland who is the man who kindly gives us our website space. Again we had arranged to meet him at the bottom of our road as he was driving. We waited and waited and when there was no sign after around 30 minutes Rob went back to the apartment to give him a call. Not having the first clue what he looked like, I was left at the end of the street looking for a man who looked like he was looking for Rob!!! The next thing I know there is a car hovering and an anxious man looking around, I tapped on his window and asked if he was Chris - result, he was. His satellite navigation had gone all to pot on the small streets around Venice beach so he'd got really lost! I
