on we stopped at Svolaer and had a wander round the town, again it didn’t have quite the same look as it did in the snow!
Then after dinner, the sun came out and wow what a sky, it was truly wonderful being stood at the back of the boat, drinking wine and watching the midnight sun in all its glory! Wished you were all here!

Bodo - Ornes - Nesna - Sandnessjoen - Brownnosed - Rorvik
We crossed back from the arctic circle and this time we were up in time to be on deck when we went past the globe, got some pictures, you’ll be pleased to hear! The boat only stopped for an hour today at Sandnessjoen and as we docked we could hear music and seelocal children dancing around, they were really sweet, they danced the whole time the boat was docked. Sophie would have loved it!
In the evening it was captain’s dinner! It’s a bit daft seeing as he has eaten in the restaurant every night but tonight was the special dinner. The captain who is one of the biggest men I have ever seen, he is a huge, he must be 6 foot 7 minimum and is about as wide, he’s not fat just a very large man, you wouldn’t wanna mess with him that’s for sure! Anyway there was captain and a few other important bods in the doorway, frauline was in national dress, they all smiled at you as you went in, you got a free glass of wine, the olds were a lot more orderly and they had all dressed up - bless! Rob had 2 starters as he had asked for the fish starters but got veggie so he scoffed that then got a fish starter as well, greedy pig! He is gonna starve when we get
