COPACABANA
Crazy! We picked a lovely little restaurant with a big wood burning pizza oven, not that we wanted a pizza but it gave a nice warmth to the restaurant. After a good meal we headed out to another couple of bars, had a few games of pool and a few more beers! It was great seeing everyone again and there is nothing better than swapping stories over a beer or two!

We missed breakfast so headed to another cheap eats place. This town was full of bargain food, again the service was at snails pace and the guy had to keep going out to buy the different ingredients, but its lovely to see places that work in this way, its so much more fun than going into somewhere that has everything on the menu in stock! After breakfast we all braced ourselves for another session on the internet, we only wanted to check emails but we knew this would take some time - we weren’t wrong! After internet it was time to say our
goodbyes to Andie, hopefully she is coming out to meet us in Amsterdam but if not then we will see her back in either Manchester or Leeds.

The next thing we needed to do was find out where the football was on. It was England’s game against the mighty Andorra and we were hoping to find it on somewhere. We asked in a few bars and they assured us they would put it on if it was shown. Excellent, it meant we could subject ourselves to another miserable couple of hours watching an under performing England without the worldwide phenomenon that is David Beckham. We really did think England could do with a boost from our Becks, if he whipped in one of his trademark free kicks, who knows what it would do to the confidence that seemed to be lacking in our England boys. It was not our lucky day, South American TV is definitely not a fan of watching England and we were subjected to watching Portugal
