LA PAZ
heard them chattering away to their clients you realised they were completely harmless and just trying to eak out a meagre living.

La Paz is not very big on sights so we only really made it to the supermarket on our first days walk. But it was good to get out and check out bits of the city. We didn’t stay out too long though as we had a few days here so after shopping and being extremely surprised by the various ice cream shops we headed back to the hostel. The ice creams in Bolivia are the most vivid shades you have ever seen. I’m sure Europe must have shipped all of their banned food colouring over to South America. European kids would be climbing the walls just by looking at the colours of this stuff, the bright blue bubble-gum flavour looked particularly awful and full of nasty E numbers.

Neither of us had ever seen it and we were totally blown away by it. We thought it was a fabulous film and went down to try and get the second one, but the reception had closed so we would have to wait until tomorrow to watch the second part. I know Tarrentino produces violent films, but the way he films them and the music he chooses is fabulous. They are so loaded with genres and the direction and editing are just brilliant.

The next morning we headed into town to book our Jungle and Pampas tour. We’d trawled round a few agencies but we’d heard good things about Inca Land Tours and they proved to be the best for us. We choose 1 day
