TOKYO
groovy looking things, I’m not sure if they will ever make it to the roads all over the world, but you can bet you bottom dollar they will in Tokyo!!!

After all of this fun we decided it was time to start making our way back to the hostel. We’d had a brilliant day and the last thing left to go on was the monorail back across the harbour and Rainbow Bridge (which is 2 tiered!). Thankfully the station was pretty close to where we were so we didn’t have to brave the cold for very long. We thought we’d get in the first train car so we’d get a good view going over the bridge and views across the harbour, but to our amazement, we were actually right at the front of this monorail as yeap you guessed it, it drove itself!!! It was a fantastic journey and topped the day off in a superb fashion. A journey neither of us will ever forget.

It had been another fantastic day, we both loved Tokyo and for all of its technology oddities it is a wonderfully vibrant city and leaves you feeling invigorated and wanting more. But our time was up and we were off the Fuji Five Lakes area early the next day, so we had to say our goodbyes and hoped that someday we’ll be lucky enough to return.
