ULURU
about it and considered it to be a lesson in Australian sunsets - it doesn’t matter what the sky looks like, wait until the true moment of sunset before you decide if there is a sunset. It was still an amazing experience and we were keeping everything crossed that tomorrow’s skies would produce the same kind of look, as we would have our wheels and be at Sunset Point to watch the sunset unfold across Uluru. After this uplifting experience we headed back to camp, cooked and played a few games of cards and Yahtzee before heading off to bed quite early as we were pretty tired due to us getting up around 5.30 am!!!

I wonder how many people can say that they have been to Uluru and had to dig out their raincoat!!! Either we are incredibly lucky - reducing our likelihood of getting sunstroke or just dam unlucky and seeing Uluru through a rainy haze!!!
To brighten things up we were confronted with a brand new 4 wheel drive Kia jeep - this was going to be our bargain car for the day!!! Rob was overjoyed and quite firmly requested that he drove first!!! I have to say I used to moan like hell about 4 wheel drive jeeps, but it was
