ULURU
warm and tingly inside, and it so made up for the fact that it had been raining all day!!! We were again treated to a magnificent sky and a memory that unlike the rainbow will never fade.

We were beaming with smiles when we got back to camp and drove to a view point near to the campground to get the last of the sunset. It was raining pretty hard again so we thought we’d go and check out the chippy rather than try and cook on the outdoor barbie, our only source for cooking.

After our chippy tea, good old veggie burger and chips we headed back to camp and due to the rain, ended up sat in the back of the jeep with the seats folded down like a table playing yahtzee and a few games of cards - our night time entertainment these days!!! What a fabulous day it had
been.

As we didn’t have to give the car back until around 9.30 a.m. it meant we could get up and go check out sunrise!!! Again with the grey looking skies we weren’t expecting too much and we were right to think that - it was very non existent!!! After the non emerging sun, we drove round to a part where you can go and check out Aboriginal Rock Art which was great to see. We also carried on walking and we astonished to see one of many waterfalls. The water seemed to make parts of the rock look almost a sort of steely white colour. It never even dawned on me that we would get to see waterfalls - again this made up for the fact it had rained all through sunrise!!!

We drove round a little further and went off on another little walk. It is only when you get so close that you realise the amazing texture of the rock. We had noticed it the day
