good to have a chilled day. Our legs were still aching after the elephant riding so we headed back, chilled and caught up with diaries and photos.

It soon came round to our last day and I’m sat here now typing this up at 20.10 and am feeling rather sad to be leaving this place. For me it has been the best place we’ve been to in Thailand, I love it here, it is so beautiful, friendly and relaxed it is easy to lose time and unwind. Not like we really needed to unwind but if ever you did then this is definitely one of the best places to do it! But back to today, Bonfire Night, hope you all have good bonfire parties! Today we went out for the last time on our bikes, we wanted to do the Pai ring, which is a big loop around the local area, which also takes in a jaunt to a waterfall. The waterfall was great but we hadn’t taken our swimming stuff so we didn’t hang around there too long, so were

soon back on the road! I can’t say enough how great it is to be riding around this area, it is quite something, so we took our time with the riding and found ourselves heading to the local hot springs. Wow what a place, its incredible! The water in the actual springs is 80 degrees C, far too hot to go in and its so steamy, neither of us have ever seen natural hot springs before so it was pretty special. The river from the springs was more temperate so we had a little paddle but we still had the rest of our loop to complete so off we went again. The next highlight was Pai Canyon, I don’t know how many times I’ve said wow but is it about the best way to describe some of this countries natural beauty. It is an amazing country and Pai canyon was the perfect finish to our stay here, check out the photos to see how awesome it is. I guess next year I’ll be-able to say if it really is like a mini Grand Canyon but it was such a great find, the rock was a really rich red colour and with the sun starting to set
