surprised at how good the airport facilities were, again better than Delhi!!! It’s the only airport I have ever been to where you can buy fresh carrots!!!

Our flight was only 35 minutes and on a small propeller plane! It was the second smallest plane I’d ever been on but definitely the smallest one Rob had ever been on. It has to be said that they don’t seem to fill you with as much confidence as the big ones but we did get a snack and a drink so that helped! The views were superb and Rob was in his element taking loads of pictures of the views through the propeller!

The landing was a tad bumpy but no complaints! After sorting out our
accommodation we went out and about. This place was lovely, it had a really pretty little lake with a beautiful temple and the views were superb. We wandered around the town and felt very much at home, it seemed really friendly and not too touristy, and it was larger than we’d both thought but this didn’t spoil it in the slightest. Our first night we hot-footed it to the nearest restaurant as it was lashing down, fortunately they are all mad about football and to my sheer delight they were showing the Chelsea v Blackburn game - hooray! My hooray was short lived as they turned it over towards the end of the first half and put on German football, the cheek of it!!! We were toying with the idea of leaving as the German footie was still on well after half time and it was killing me knowing Chelsea were on. Thankfully the owner must have read my mind and turned it over, then to my horror they put the Liverpool game on! Arrghh!
