good old natter with Les on Skype we decided to catch the last rays of sun so headed back into town for a lovely bottle of Malbec at a pavement café. On our way back to the hostel later on we came across a midnight puppet show which was fascinating especially with all of the kids that were wide awake and watching it. That is one thing about Argentina and South America in general they don’t half let the kids stay up late! I guess its that they get a good siesta in the afternoon but we certainly encountered a very lively bunch of little chicos and chicas late into the night.

The next day was another spent sorting yet more general things out. Rob needed to back up various Antarctica DVD’s which needed sending home. I wrote a diary and we both got our hair cut! I hadn’t had mine cut since we were in Flagstaff so it was in desperate need of a good cut! I wasn’t holding out much hope as I
went to the same hairdressers as Rob, but the man could speak a little English and thankfully he had a massive book of haircuts. So it was simple I just found a style pointed and hoped for the best! Thankfully the end result resembled the photo and I came away with a pretty good haircut made all the better by it costing me less than 3 quid!!! I mean he did wash and condition, used 3 different pairs of scissors, a hairdryer and some straighteners and give me a middle parting!!! After the haircutting experience we headed into town yet again, this time to buy a birthday present for Andy and have another wander in this fabulous town.
