MENDOZA
clever stuff! We ended our walk in the park with a couple of beers watching the sunset over the lake. It had been a most enjoyable afternoon and made a nice change from looking at a computer screen!

Our bus back to Santiago was just after lunch, so we had a chilled morning with one last walk into town before heading back to the hostel and hanging around till it was time for our bus. The bus back to Santiago was fine although they showed Transporter 2 in Spanish. I can’t believe how many times we have seen these Transporter movies. They are dreadful and I can’t believe we have actually seen all three, never mind one and two at least 3 times and once in Spanish!!! At least the Spanish version seemed funnier than it does in English!!!

It snowed while we were at customs but thankfully it
didn’t take quite as long getting back into Chile as it had us getting back into Argentina. Unfortunately for Rob he was only wearing a t-shirt and shorts so he was very pleased when it was time for us to get back on the bus and head towards Santiago! We were heading back to Casa Roja for one night before the start of our Pachamana trip up through Northern Chile. We’d had a great time in Mendoza, it’s a fabulous town and we were definitely glad we’d finally made it there.
