offending bedding on the floor and checked the bed for any lose creepy crawlies, how cheesed off were we! Then of course we were bloody freezing as we had one horrible thin blanket and our skin was crawling with the thought of these things, we kind of realised at that point we were in for a pretty rough night! It is amazing how slow time can pass, we must have nodded off at some point but we woke up feeling pretty tired and fed up, but we did have a message from Steve but the only problem was that Steve had sent an answer phone message and we couldn’t receive it for some technical reason!!! Check out time was 10.00 a.m. so we thought we’d go and find another room then deal with the problem of trying to retrieve the answer phone message. Oh how we wished he’d sent a text, but also completely understood why he didn’t. It was just one of those moments when technology really did let us down, Rob’s phone was going in and out of signal and losing networks like there was no tomorrow and all we wanted

We found another hotel which was far better, it was a massive room had a great view (of the clouds!), a sofa and TV and for only 100 rupees more than we’d paid for that flea pit! It took us approximately 20 minutes to get back to the other hotel, check out and get back to the new hotel, still the only thing on our mind was what was on this answer phone message! Still no luck with the phone, we thought about going to the internet or texting but with the 4 and a half hours time difference it would have made it about 6.00 a.m. and we thought it might be a bit early to be sending texts so we’d just have to wait!
