ZION & BRYCE CANYONS

I could waffle on for hours about the beauty of Bryce and the wonderful effect that walk had on ourselves. I’m sure if you can sit through all of our photographs of the place, you will get some inkling as to how magical this environment is, but really the best and only way to view such a wonder is visit it yourself, I don’t know anybody who wouldn’t thank me for recommending it.

Once we had finished our walk we watched yet another fabulous sunset before making our way to the road to meet Cath and Andy. We weren’t sure of the time but guessed that it was around the time that they would be coming to pick us up. Sure enough we saw our trusted mini-van heading towards us with two very happy looking people waving frantically at us. By all accounts Cath and Andy’s ATV’ing had been extreme fun. They had gone through a small canyon and then on to see a waterfall, Cath’s favourite! What
we did notice was how incredibly grubby they were looking, they were caked in mud and dust, but had loved every minute of it. Although Cath did admit that it was a bit tricky to keep the thing going due to the fact that you had to keep your finger on the go button whilst twisting the throttle, all well and good if you have big man hands, but at bit tricky when you’re only small and have little handies! The drive back to Ruby’s Inn was full of stories about what we had all been up to over the past couple of hours, I think it was a case of whoever talked fastest got their story told! We were all really buzzing, it had been one of the best days we’d had and one thing was for sure, we were all very very tired!!! We stopped at the burger joint again for a quick snack before heading back to our camp. Sue and Eddie had the campfire going so there was only one thing to do, grab a beer and find somewhere to sit down! I don’t remember us all being very late to bed that
