ZION & BRYCE CANYONS
something I will never forget. An artists dream and even though it was fairly busy, it didn’t spoil the occasion one single bit. Everyone else was equally as in awe of the place as we were and there was a great buzz about the place. We stayed until the last sunlight slipped away over the distant hills and the sky had turned from its fiery red to twilight so we thought it was time to head back to camp via the burger bar! Thankfully the food was as reasonably priced as everything else around Ruby’s Inn and they also did good old veggie burgers so again something for everyone. It had been a brilliant day, it had seemed that everyone was relaxed, we’d had a few pretty hectic days and it was great to be in such a wonderful place knowing that we had 2 more nights in which to enjoy ourselves.

We set the alarm and we up early as today was horse-riding day, something which I was really looking forward

Sure enough around 9 am the minibus pulled up and a young cowboy got out and asked who was going horse riding! We climbed into the van and before we knew it, we were whizzing down the road towards the Red Rock Canyon and corral. When we arrived we were kept in our family groups, poor Sue was looking more nervous than I have ever seen her. We were given a small talk about the ride and then assigned our horses. Now you won’t believe this names …!!! I was to ride Warpaint, a beautiful 8 years old skewbald, Rob got Pedro, Cath got Hawkeye, Andy got Cherokee, Eddie got Bob and Sue got Julie, an ex-racehorse!!! Bob and Julie were apparently best friends and Bob would do
